Description
CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN CANTON SOUP TUREEN, COVER AND UNDERPLATE / PLATTER, LOT OF TWO, comprising a tapering hexagonal soup tureen with hog's head handles, the cover with stem-form knop, and an associated canted-cornered platter forming the underplate, all painted in shades of blue depicting bridges, pavilions, and boats. Unmarked. Probably late Qing Dynasty, mid 19th century. 8" H, 12 1/4" W the tureen, the platter 12 5/8" x 15 1/2".

The tureen and cover in very good condition. The undertray has a light chip to one corner.
