Description
Chinese Porcelain Beehive Water Pot, Taibai Zun, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the white-ground vessel with a dome-shaped body enameled in a famille rose palette, depicting the eight immortals crossing the sea, a six-character Jiaqing reign (1796-1820) mark on the underside in red, h. 4-1/2", dia. 5-3/8". Provenance: The estate collection of Judge and Mrs. Everett Dudley, Massachusetts.
Condition
In overall excellent condition. A few firing anomalies, light wear to enamels and faint traces of soiling to foot consistent with age, display and material. No breaks or evidence of restoration.
