Description
Frederick Carder (English, 1863-1963) for Steuben Glass Works (American, founded 1903), circa 1903-1932. A collection of two diminutive Verre de Soie art glass vases comprising of one spiral ribbed shade vase with scalloped sides to bulbous body and flaring ruffled rim; and one floriform bud vase with ribbed sides and narrow scalloped rim, each with iridescent surface and polished pontil. Shade vase approximate height 2.85". Floriform vase approximate height 2.25". Each apparently unmarked. Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
