This 1/8 scale model commemorates Ford Motor Company's 75th Anniversary, 1978, created by American Silversmiths Guild. Made of silver and gold, approx. 13 inches long and approx. 8 lbs. Inside each headlight is a full cut diamond whichwas handset by famous jeweler Cartier to signify Ford's diamond jubilee. The rear lantern contains a ruby also handset by Cartier. Unfortunately, this model has seen better days as there are some condition issues throughout. The rear lantern isdetached, one of the rear fenders is missing, the front wheel axle is broken along with the stem that attaches to the axle from the steering wheel. The steering wheel is bent, front seat is missing, rear seat completely detached,etc....Includes June 1978 Ford Times magazine which details this model.
