An Art Deco Maple Cabinet System. Comprising three tall cabinets and one low cabinet. Cabinet one (67" x 15" x 15"): two door cabinet with a dark wood carving of a robed woman with a jug on her head. Bottom of cabinet has two doors that jut out to a point, with an additional two door cabinet beneath. Cabinet two (82" x 14" x 14"): Single door cabinet with a two door cabinet above, all in light and dark woods. Cabinet three (78" x 8" x 15"): Two stacked cabinets form the lower portion, with doors opening on opposing sides. Above these cabinet is a single two-door cabinet. Low cabinet (18" x 37" x 13"): Center door in dark wood with low relief carving of kneeling nude woman playing a drum with two drumsticks, next to an image of a picture on the wall with an incised woman kneeling. Cabinet opens with two doors, two panels on one and a single panel on the other. Frieze of cabinet is decorated with cactus leaves. Cabinets were allegedly carved by the same artisan that did the elevator doors for the Knickerbocker Hotel and Playboy Building
