Attributed to T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings (1905-1976) Low Table. A Necoclassical style long low wood table with cinnabar colored lacquer. Table is supported by two vertical lacquered wood bases in rear, and two blackamoor sphinx with gold leaf headdress. A round narrow column emerges from the body of the sphinx, ending in a lotus bulb just beneath the table top. A long horizontal support bar connects the two sphinx. Possibly purchased at the M.G.M. Studios auction, 1970 19" x 54" x 22"
