Maryland $2 April 10, 1774. To thwart and detect counterfeiting, this has the secret marks of Two Spanish Dollars engraved in the printing. Also, anti-counterfeiting mica is prevalent across front and back. Bright, clearly numbered, well margined and with strong signatures of John Clapham and William Eddis. Anne Catherine Green and her son printed this note. Deep off-center vertical fold and no tears or major flaws. Choice Very Fine
