Ink signature ('The Queen') on a small piece, evidently removed from an envelope wrapper addressed in her hand to The Duke of Buckingham. Neatly laid down alongside a piece signed by King Edward VII (1841-1910) King of the United Kingdom 1901-10, signed ('Albert Edward') as Prince of Wales, on a piece evidently clipped from the conclusion of a letter and with four additional words in his hand. Some very light age wear, about VG. £80-120
Queen Victoria's correspondent could have either been Richard Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville (1797-1861) 2nd Duke of Buckingham and Chandos.
