Description
Modeled as a Guanyin seated upon a buddhist lion, her face is finely depicted with serene expression and wearing a loose robe in heavy folds exposing the jewellery on chest, with one hand resting on raised knee holding a beaded necklace and the other a vase. The figure carved from an exquisite piece of amber, with rich and deep reddish-brown color and good translucency, all rests on top of a carved wooden stand depicting stones, bamboos, and lotus flowers. Slight damage on the vase.
