This pair of carved soapstone figures depicts fantastic, mythical qilin, their heads raised above their winged front legs. The coiled tails form phoenix heads with hooked beaks and have their own feathered wings in hooked form mirroring their beaks. The stone is of a variegated caramel with patches of tan skin and cream highlights.
Condition
In overall good condition with no apparent losses, chips, or restorations. Even patina.
