A George III silver covered ewer, by Thomas Ellis or Thomas Evans, London 1774, raised on a square foot, the vase shaped body decorated with swags and paterae over stiff leaves, the incurved upper body decorated with a band of acanthus below a beaded spout with hinged cover, bud finial and wooden scroll handle, 33cm high, 27.05oz

Repaired crack to wooden handle, strain to hinge cover preventing perfect closure, otherwise in very good condition, Damaged but legible maker's punch to body but small complete punch to cover
