A Gary Cooper Handwritten Letter to Director Fred Zinnemann, 1961. On personalized notepaper, penned in black foutain pen ink, dated "Feb. 3rd 61," a friendly letter from the actor to the director (who directed him in the 1952 United Artists classic, "High Noon"), reading in part "We went to Sun Valley / immediately afterward; the skiing was / good... / thanks for your wonderful / telegram and love from Rocky / Gary;" sadly, the actor would pass away just three months later; also included is a small giftcard/tag penned in blue ballpoint ink by Cooper's wife [Veronica Balfe aka "Rocky"] to Zinnemann; consigned directly by Zinnemann's son, Tim.
