A very nice English silver loop cane of a stork. The silver handle is 6 1/2" high and 2 1/4" at its widest. It depicts a stork with amber glass eyes and a long neck and beak, done in the Art Nouveau style. At the bottom, there are very worn London hallmarks for the turn of the 20 th Century. The shaft is black painted hardwood that ends with a 1" horn ferrule. The overall length is 36" and the condition is very good. It is ca 1900, and it is a very fine silver figural example. Estimate: $600-$800.
