Signed American oak trestle dining / library table supported by two gadrooned and leaf carved cup and cover legs on carved sloping sledge-style feet connected by wide flat stretcher with three central flat supports with undulating sides. Tag attached, "Westing, Evans & Egmore". NOTE: The firm of Westing, Evans & Egmore, founded in Philadelphia in 1916, manufactured and sold furniture, woodwork and interior decoration. One of its important commissions was the furnishing of the Folger Shakespeare Library, built from 1929 to 1932 in Washington, D.C. 30"H x 108"W x 36"D, Circa - Mid 20th C.
