A pair of late Victorian silver open salts, the circular bodies with floral embossing, crested, standing on lion mask mounted paw feet and with blue glass liners. Hallmarked Harrison Brothers & Howson (Henry Harrison), Sheffield 1894. Height measuring 2 inches (5 cm), gross weighable silver 7.6 ozt (238 grams).
Condition
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Edge chip to one blue glass liner. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
