Description

The first Tower Records store opened in 1960 in Sacramento, California. This window poster is for the second store in San Francisco. Seven years after Tower Records first opened, they expanded to San Francisco, opening a store in what was originally a grocery store at Bay and Columbus streets. The chain eventually expanded internationally. This poster is unused on a medium weight paper and is artist-signed and dated 1968 in the lower right corner. The size is 11" x 14-1/4". It definitely has a feeling of 1960s San Francisco Rock and Roll.
