Description
The Pennsylvania Railroad used the "knobby" switch keys for many years. They are thick and well made. The Oct 2010 issue of Key Lock & lantern magazine has an article showing all of the divisional markings for these keys. The "H" represents the Buffalo division. This key has the normal Fraim "keystone" hallmark and a serial number of "2132". This key shows some nice but not excessive pocket wear.
A guy who knows more about PR Knobbys than I has informed me that the single character designations on PRR keys is a sequence designation and not a Region/Division marking. The divisional keys will have 2 characters. Please try to remember that we should all try to learn something new each day!
