Description
Greek Empire, ca. 5th to 4th century BCE. Beautiful glass perfume vial or alabastron, so named because many vessels in this form were made of alabaster, in deep blue glass with yellow trailing combed into a feather pattern. Small lug handles to each side. Size: 3-1/2"H (8,9 cm) + custom lucite base.
Provenance: Ex-private Dr. Klaus Morkramer collection, Germany, acquired 1980's.
