WE SHIP **** The AEAA is exceptionally pleased to present this lot that represents a pre 1921 imported Bisque Matte and Gloss combo seated Piano Baby. Soft but rich colors , excellent mold definition exceptional flesh tones and facial features , the mark is for an export from Japan without the marking of Japan its pre McKinley tariff and a quality piece , During the late 1800's and early 1900's, there was a large Japanese import business. This is not the one you see today in 'Made in Japan', those pieces were made after 1921. The ones being produced before then were made by masters of porcelain. In fact, it was the Japanese who discovered many processes in porcelain. Some will attriute this mark to Newcomb College but it is not even that close , others sell it as French maker called Camille Naudot but she did not make many figurines and did not make piano babies. ***Weight : 3# 14 oz. *** Measurements: 8 x 7 x 11 inches tall
