A Napoleon III Boulle and Gilt Glass Cave à Liqueur, circa 1870
10-1/4 inches high x 14 inches wide x 10-1/4 inches deep (26.0 x 35.6 x 26.0 cm)

PROPERTY FROM THE COLLECTION OF JACKIE HEIDE, DALLAS

The case with brass and painted faux tortoiseshell boullework to the top and the serpentine front, front lifting to reveal four liqueur decanters with stoppers and 14 liqueur stems with gilt decoration, within the fitted interior.

Condition

Missing two liqueur stems, minor rubbing to the gilt glass, flaking of the paint throughout the front and lid of the case, some lifting of the brass, missing flakes of paint to the sides, otherwise with surface wear commensurate with age and indicative of use.
