Chinese Han or Song Dynasty Jade Pei Ornament in Presentation Box. Museum quality archaic pei pendant is intricately carved with two opposing stylized dragons in lock form. It measures 3''x3.5'' and is yellowish-green to russet brown in color. It comes in silk fitted rosewood presentation box with carved inscription on lid. Card inside states, ''Pei from Han Dynasty (200 B.C. - 200 A.D.) from the collection of the Viceroy Tuan-Fang (well-known 19th century collector in China). Box measures 5.5'' square and cover is missing two side panels. Ancient Han dynasty period (206 BCE - 220 CE) or Song Dynasty (960-1275) piece. Provenance: Private Collection, Nevada.
