American Rococo Revival Walnut Half-Tester Bed, third quarter 19th century, the serpentine tester raised on segmented turned posts, the headboard with a crest carved in the form of a cabochon flanked by foliate-carved scrolls, over a pair of shaped panels, the wrap footboard centered by an applied roundel, h. 97-1/2", inside, w. 59", l. 80", outside, w. 63-1/2", l. 83-1/2".

In very good, clean condition throughout. Sturdy. A few minor dings to the rails from age and use. No sign of damage. The canopy probably had a central crest and corner finials at one time.
