after Pierre-Jules Mene (1810-1879), Falconer two-light table lamp, patinated bronze, iridescent glass, marble, signed, 9.75"dia x 29.75"h overall
Condition
Depicting a standing falconer with a raised fist and perched falcon and a dead hare at his feet. Raised on a marble plinth. Base signed P.J. Mene, further stamped F. Barbedienne. Two American iridescent glass lily shades. Shades unsigned. Each in overall good condition without significant chips, cracks or repairs. With a few minor flecks. Bronze with original patina. A few areas with losses to patina. Base dirty with a few spots of verdigris patina.
