These three puppets come from the Metropoltheater; they are anything but an everyday sight. The puppets are made of various materials including fabric, wire and polystyrene beads. They are fully modelled up to their midsections. Their faces with large eyes and red mouths are quite striking; each one is also wearing a hat with a bordure of fabric, flowers, lace, or ribbons. The women are dressed in dark red, black, brown and grey gowns, wearing gloves in green, Bordeaux-red and yellow.

The three puppets are in good condition showing common signs of age-related wear and use; partial abrasion of colour and some dirt on the clothes. They measure 130 cm (height) by 50 cm (width).
