8th-11th century AD. A group of three silver rings; a ring inlaid with a gold inscription in Greek; a silver ring with a ribbed shank and elongated bezel with the bust of a bearded male with hair forming a halo, cross on top of head and another to the chest with upside down triangle beneath, palm leaves to either side of head; the bezel of a ring missing shank depicting the bust of a male wearing robes and having three palm leaves at top of head, symbols below the bust and a Greek inscription to either side of the bust, with inscription and symbols including a pentagram to the reverse. 10.86 grams total; 16.13mm for overall size of gold inlaid ring, 14.11mm internal diameter (approximate ring size F 1/2 British; 3 1/8 USA; 44 Europe; 4 Japanese); 20.47mm overall diameter for larger ring, 19.31mm internal diameter (approximate ring size S 1/2 British; 9 3/8 USA; 19 1/2 Europe; 19 Japan); 26.86mm for bezel (1/2-1").
