Description
Two early to mid 20th century 18ct gold diamond and sapphire floral cluster rings. The first designed as a single-cut diamond scalloped cluster with textured sides, the second designed as a circular-shape sapphire within a brilliant-cut diamond heart surround. The second with hallmarks for London, 1967. Total weight 3.7gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of repair/ resize to both rings, slightly out of round, wear to the hallmarks. Diamonds well matched. Estimated total diamond weight under 0.15ct. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Sapphire is a medium deep blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with moderate abrasions and small nicks. Ring sizes G and O. Stamped 18ct plat to diamond cluster ring.
