Description
Chinese, late 19th/ early 20th century. A Chinese Export porcelain lidded tureen of rectangular form with chamfered corners, the white ground decorated with underglaze cobalt blue hand painted floral clusters, some with birds, the lid with prunus fruit on stem finial and the body with rabbit or bat head handles to either side. Unmarked. Approximately 6.75" tall, 13.5" wide, 8.25" deep. Provenance: From the Estate of Henry G. Muecke Jr., Atlanta, Georgia.
