American, 2nd half 20th century. A group of two RIAA (Recording Industry Associate of American) separately framed gold records issued to Capricorn Records for albums by The Marshall Tucker Band comprising of one to commemorate sales of more than 500,000 copies of "Searchin' for a Rainbow", and one to commemorate sales of more than 500,000 copies of "Where We All Belong", each record being mounted over a copy of the cd beside a facsimile of the album cover and a platinum or gold tone tape labeled "Gold Sales Award", with an RIAA hologram at center below record bearing serial number (128731 & 1287392).
