Description
Harry Bouras (American, b. 1931- ), "Trophy II", patinated iron sculpture, apparently unsigned. Modern unsigned figural sculpture rendered in patinated iron metal with elongated and abstracted figural form emerging from rectangular box or crate with cylindrical pipe protruding at front, hinged door fixed ajar, raising lid of another box or compartment above. Two circular pierced holes in presumably, the figure's head representing nostrils. Approximate height 35.75", width 12.5", depth 11.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Shirley Litt, Chicago Illinois whereby sold through Bunte Auction Services, Elgin, Illinois to a Private Collection in Atlanta, Georgia.
