Description
Sasanian (also spelled Sassanian) Empire, Asia Minor, ca. 224 to 651 CE. Lovely bronze mirror, decorated on the center with standing lion/human hybrids, band of Kufic script along entire outer edge. Reverse once covered in silver. Quite lovely! Size: 4"in diameter (10.3 cm).
