(lot of 5) Pre-Columbian Mexican bowls, the two in red from Chupicuaro, Mexico, circa 500-200 BC, one being striped, and the third, probably Huasteca, cream-colored, having a handle and spout for pouring, largest: 3.5"h; together with Meso-American figural vessels, circa AD 600-1000, the smaller a polychrome tripod bowl from Costa Rica with the face of an owl; the larger also from Central America, having a head protruding and arms and legs in low relief, largest: 5.5"h. Provenance: Deaccessioned from The California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco, CA
