A set of two pieces of gold-pressed Latinum featured in the production of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Latinum is a rare silver-colored liquid used as currency by the Ferengi Alliance and many other worlds. It cannot be replicated. For ease of transaction, latinum is usually suspended within gold as a binding medium to produce gold-pressed latinum. This set features two medium sized pieces with a gold patina.
