TWO LATE VICTORIAN POLISHED CUT STEEL BEADED SAC A MAIN PURSES, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, one of rectangular form and with a berried laurel detailed gilt metal hinged frame centering a push florette button clasp flanked by "C" scroll loops suspending a gilt metal chain link strap, opening to a salmon pink silk lined interior with circular mirror and pocket sleeve, enclosed by sides with gilt, black patinated and polished steel bead work depicting stylized blossoming foliage beneath triangle banding, hung with beaded loop fringe, length: 7"; together with a circular polished steel and black beaded purse, having a scalloped polished steel hinged frame centering faceted bosses and a push button clasp, flanked by suspension loops mounted with a chain link strap, opening to a black silk lined interior enclosed by sides depicting a conforming stylized flower and lotus blooms, over beaded loop fringe, length with fringe: 10".
