American, ancient: carved horse-form catlinite pipe bowl, 3 in., break and loss to pipe stem; three Native American spear points, one notched chert point, 9-1/2 in., good condition, redstone point, possibly Karok, 11-3/4 in., very good condition, black chert, 14-1/8 in., small chips and losses to tip . Provenance: Collected by decedent's great grandfather Hiram Barker, Sr., during his assignment as land agent in Mitchell, ND, in the 1880s; Estate of Frances S. McKeighan, Asheville, North Carolina
