Woodward, et al, 1744, 1748, two volumes, first expanded edition following the 1705 first edition, this edition was the first appearance of two notable maps: Bowen's two maps of Australia and Georgia, with black and white illustrations and maps, later full brown leather with elaborately gilt decorated spines, new endpapers, six raised bands, red and black morocco spine labels, gilt inner dentelles, 16 x 10-1/2 in. near fine, some foxing mostly in the second volume; Missing one plate from Volume II, "Prospect of the City of Genoa".
