A Rare Chinese LuJun Ware Vase, With a globular body with tall neck, slightly flared to the rim, raised on splayed foot base. Two curved ruyis shape handle flanked to the neck. The shoulder decorated with relief carving of repeated ruyi pattern beneath an array of tropical leaves. The vase characterized with multi layered crooked band carved unto the globular body, created unusual reverberation shape. Lujun glaze also called a ?jade candle? ware, the surface of the glaze has a fluid appearance with a splash of purplish colors melting together to create abstracted effect against a turquoise ground. Potted with correlate brown base, with splashed gilt accents.
Mark on base, carved six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- Character, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
