Segulot HaNefesh U'Psukei Bitachon V'Hatzalah. Czernowitz, 1838. First edition.
[36] leaves, 12 cm. Includes chapters of Psalms, verses, and early segulot, with nuances in Shema. Concludes with laws relating to immersion by women on erev Shabbat written by Rabbi Aharon Moshe of Brodt – apparently the first printing of these laws. Bibliographic discovery. The bibliographies note a first edition that was printed in Lemberg in 1851, and then later under the title "Segulat HaNefesh V'Habitachon" – however, this edition is unknown. To the best of our knowledge, this book is not found in any public libraries worldwide and has not appeared at auction.
Blemished binding. Aging stains. Light tears, and tears with loss to two leaves. Moderate condition.
