Two antique boxed games from c. 1870s with a rare and complete game of "AVILUDE" with all the cards: 1) Very rare game of "AVILUDE or Game of Birds" by West & Lee Worcester, Mass. from 1873 with bird plates and corresponding text cards with full descriptions of each species. Bird picture cards each have a corresponding info card about each and they are 100% complete, contains 32 cards total with 16 pictures and 16 info cards, plus one "AVIS" card. They are inside a box with a beautiful bronzed lithographed label. Includes instructions and ad flyer. Very good condition & 100% complete. 2) "WORD Making & Taking" by C.E. & B.M. Hammett of Newport, RI and Brooklyn NY dated 1877 on copperplate litho label and includes over 100 capital letter alphabet cards on yellow stock to make words (like the magnets for refrigerators today) in good condition for a fragile game over 100 years old.
