(1913 - 2006) 38th President of the United States who assumed office upon the resignation of Richard Nixon, who Ford later pardoned for any involvement in the Watergate scandal. Souvenir D.S., 1p. 8vo., [n.p.], Nov. 5, 1979, the text of Ford's proclamation granting a "full, free, and absolute pardon unto Richard Nixon for all offenses against the United States", boldly signed in black marker. Fine.
