AMERICAN FANBACK WINDSOR ROCKING CHAIR, arm chair form, the shaped crest rail over a seven spindle back over bentwood arm rests above a shaped plank seat (now upholstered), raised on splayed bamboo-turned legs joined with box stretchers. Old black-painted surface. Late 18th/early 19th century. 45 1/2" HOA, 19" x 17" seat.

Provenance: From a Boston, MA private collection.

Condition

Rockers likely later. Wear to painted surface throughout.
