The oval bezel engraved with the goddess Hera wearing a long pleated dress holding staff in her right hand and a wreath in her left.Hera:Was wife of Zeus, a divine personification of the female power of the heavens, the ideal of womanly virtues, she made it a principal duty to protect them among mortals, punishing with severity all trespassers against her moral law.
