Description
A 1930's cased set of six silver George VI Coronation spoons with crown terminals, blue enamel decoration to stems and gilded bowls, hallmarked A J Bailey, Birmingham 1937 (one dated 1936). Together with a further cased set of six silver spoons with crown finials, hallmarked Birmingham 1936, same maker, two late Victorian silver spoons, cased silver plated coffee bean spoons and plated fruit knives. Gross silver weight 5.38 ozt (167.2 grams).
Condition
All the items in the lot display some general wear including surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some heavy tarnishing is visible and they would all benefit from a clean and polish. The two sets of silver spoons appear in fairly good overall condition. All hallmarks are clear and legible.
