Description
Teapot, decorated by Anna M. Bookprinter, having early standard glaze with pansy decoration, marks include impressed Rookwood flame logo with 1 flame for date 1887, shape #88, G (for ginger or "buff" clay), signed with artist's monogram "A.M.B.", approximate height 5 1/2", and a ewer by Matt A. Daly, having lilies on a brown ground, impressed Rookwood monogram mark "R" with no flames indicating date1886, shape #321, G (for ginger or "buff" clay), signed with incised artist's monogram "M.A.D.", height 11 3/4".
Condition
Teapot has a small chip on rim measuring approximately 1/16", "J" shaped hairline crack from top rim descending to bottom then horizontally for 2" and ascending half way up teapot with a 1/16" white nick along the crack
