A Pair of French Empire Style Open Armchairs. Ebonized wood chairs are ormolu mounted and bear gold bee upholstery 39" x 25" x 24"

These chairs appear to have a newer upholstery, the wood of this chair is also possibly newer then the metal. The arm rests of these chairs are slightly loose. There have some cracks in the seams where the back of the arm meets the backrest. There is noticeable mold build up on the wood at the feet of the winged sphinx, and some faint mold dust to the surrounding fabric. One of the chairs also has some light mold build up around the medallion at the top of the back rest.  Both the chairs have a medium amount of noticeable mold to the bottom of the seats. There is light overall denting and scuffing to the wood, this is most significant to the legs.
