Daly in an Oriental style having pine tree branches and birds in flight with clouds in the background, on a beige and tan body with gilt highlights, marks include impressed name and date "Rookwood 1885", shape #241, G (for ginger clay), signed with artist's incised monogram "M.A.D.", approximate height 13".

Tiny nick on gilt rim with hairline crack descending approximately 1" into the mouth of the vase, glaze miss on bottom edge measuring approximately 1/4", overall fine crazing.
