Roman Empire, the Levant, ca. 200 to 300 CE. An exceptionally breathtaking example of ancient glass vessel with very long neck, slightly flared rim, globular shaped body, and broken pontil on underside; stunning glass of golden-pale green hues with areas of rainbow irridescence. Size: 5-7/8" (14.9 cm) x 4" (10.2 cm) in diameter.
