Item Details

Description

Antique brass desk tray, with large built in ink well. The ink well sits at the center, with scallop shells radiating out. The shells appear to come from two fish-like figures. A female face with feathered headdress, possibly a personification on America, floats behind the ink well. Tarnish but overall very good condition, ink well lid is missing. Measures 10 inches wide, 10 inches long, and 5.5 inches tall. No apparent maker's mark present.
