Associated Pair of Berlin Porcelain Plaques of the Madonna and Child. Each rectangular form plaque depicting a standing figure of Madonna, holding a figure of Jesus as infant; the first with the mother and son in the clouds, surrounded by both a male and female Saint and a pair angels on edge of the painting; the other, the Madonna wears a crown and flanked by cohorts and saints, against the backdrop of a shell form nave niche, mounted in a gilt frame from McElroys, 1001 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC. One on right After Raphael's Sistine Madonna of 1512. Late 19th/Early 20th Century. Dimensions 8 x 6 x 1/2 inches (20.4 x 15.2 x 1.2 cm). Not examined out of frame.
