Superb vintage lamp. Hand carved camel bone, attached to a Black Bakelite base pedestal. Deeply carved relief with reticulation. Displays a traditional scene up front with a Lion attacking an Elephant. Includes original wiring and plug (European or Early British 2-prong type). The Bakelite plug is marked - Victoria 5A 250V. Vintage light bulb still retained. Persian or Indo-British in origin, made for export to the West. Circa early-mid 20th century. Measurements: 7.75" high (20 cm); 3.1" base diameter (9 cm); The bone itself is 5" x 1.9" at widest
