The AEAA is very pleased to present this next piece of valuable Burmese hand painted glass items from the respected Loren (Butch) Morse collection. This lot represents the SECOND OF 2 stunning and scarce 1996 Ltd. Ed. Fenton Art Glass, hand painted Burmese lidded temple jars, Ware #7488, and finished in lovely Apple Blossoms and butterfly theme. This spectacular ginger jar was specifically made for the FAGCA (Fenton Art Glass Collectors Assn.) in April-May 1996, and was finished masterfully by Diane Gessel. Our gorgeous Fenton Burmese explodes under black light, plus is in wonderful condition, and weighs 13 oz., measuring 3.75 x 3.75 x 6.25 inches tall. xxxxxxxxxxxxx. The U.S. Hazardous Materials Act of 1942, banned the commercial use of all Uranium, reserving it for the U.S. war effort. From 1942 until 1959, Fenton was restricted from all Uranium Oxide formulas. Fenton produced a myriad of beautiful Topaz, Topaz Opalescent, Topaz Iridized Opalescent items, Burmese and Green Uranium figurines & smalls, from the 1960s, right up until the end.
